On December 1st, World AIDS Day, 2009 the students, staff, parents at James Weldon Johnson Academy PS/MS 57 in Manhattan took a stand to support the fight against HIV/AIDS. We conducted a brief commemoration and moment of silence. The sight was amazing and a heartfelt effort by all of the students from Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. During this t… Continue

A few friends of mine began doing this charity at a school and I designed some t-shirts that were sold and the money was donated to KCA. While all this happened… Continue

Hip Hop's "golden age' was the theme on Saturday, October 17, 2009 as I showcased my paintings that were inspired by this amazing culture. To give the evening an extra "hip hop" feel, guest were asked to dress in old school 80's attire.
The evening went great as we were taken back down memory lane as DJ Mz Deluxx played classic hip hop from 9pm-2am. 100% of the admission proceeds were donated to KCA!
I would like to thank everyone who braved the messy weather on Saturday to come out and suppor… Continue
