WOW!!! Great ideas guys! It's so great to see UNCW and New Hanover teaming up for KCA!!

I bet you could kick-start the "Who Gives a Buck?" Campaign at your Alicia in Africa screening!! Be sure to email Kate for materials ASAP!

I can't wait to work with everyone at New Hanover with this. I'm going to talk to someone about showing Alicia in Africa at Lumina Theatre at UNCW and my crew and I are already in the process of getting teachers to offer extra credit for people who go see it. We can charge to see it and kids are always willing to do anything for a few extra points! Nick and I are really excited to get the ball truly rolling so I hope everyone is too! Thanks for everything that you are already doing guys!

Hey guys. My name is Nick Esquire president of the KCA club here at New Hanover High School in Wilmington, NC. Our mission at NHHS is to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS to as many people as we can as well as to raise money for Kepp A Child Alive. I have put together a team of students/officers; Taylor Anderson, Kirstin Lewis, Carson Logan, and Leslie Richardson. These are close friends of mine who are as excited as I am to start something with such a great cause. We will be mainly working with a girl by the name of Amanda Guy who is the founder of the KCA chapter at UNCW. Both chapters will working together with most of our fundraisers for KCA. We will be holding a meeting within the next week or so for anyone interested in joing our chapter and hopefully being able to show the movie Alicia in Africa. Alicia in Africa is a documentary about Alicia Keys, who is the Co-Founder and Global Ambassador at KCA, and her trip over to Africa where she meets people who are currently living with HIV/AIDS. Im hoping that it will be some kind of extra credit opportunity. We can make a difference in peoples lives and this is one of the great ways in doing so. Thanks.
