Tuesday 12 January 2010 sees the opening of Stine Rasmussen's first photo exhibition at Kulturforum DanAustria in Vienna. Through a series of black/white photographs she shows a new and very different view of the beautiful city of Vienna.
Stine Rasmussen was born 1974 in Denmark. After finishing university she settled in Vienna, Austria, where she is currently working for a non-governmental children's organisation. Over the past years photography has become an ever more important part of her life and Kulturforum DanAustria now proudly presents her work to the public.
Next to the photo exhibition the Danish freelance journalist Christine Proksch presents the brand-new edition of the Viennese travel guide "Turen går til Wien" - one of the bestselling travel guides in Denmark. The new book also includes photos by Stine Rasmussen.
On this evening we raise money for the AIDS organisation "Keep a Child Alive". 50% of proceeds from photographs sold and all other money raised will be donated to the organisation and we are very happy to organise this first event for KCA in Austria. For further information please go to www.stinerasmussen.com or www.danaustria.org (website is in German).
