Ms. Johnson's 5th Grade Class at KIPP DC: AIM Academy

When Ms. Johnson's 5th Grade Class at KIPP DC: AIM Academy learned about HIV/AIDS, and how it was affecting children across the African
Continent, they were called to act. They decided to pool together all

of their pennies in order to help kids get life-saving medicine. In

just a week their penny drive raised over $114! Not only did they raise

enough money to provide over 100 days of medicine, but they

also educated themselves
